Established the value chain for production of Custard Apple pulp and its marketing.

It was innovative project under which 700 Tribal families of Pali District for the first time got the good price from sale of custard apple in a period of one month. Highest income was Rs 7,000 and average income earned was Rs 3,500. These Families sold the fruit to the producer Company. Producer Company purchased 85,000 Kg of Custard Apple, which they converted in 15,000 Kg pulp, Rs 20,000 was raised from the same of the pulp. Overall company earned profit of Rs 3 lakh in first year of processing.

Conducted the Sub-sector Study for two states in northeast, Nagaland and Mizoram.

This study was organised by ICCO Netherlands in collaboration with North East Rural Livelihood Project Society. Study was conducted in Nagaland and Mizoram. It focus was to find out the gaps in current process of pork rearing and overall value chain and suggest the solution to overall come. It was more focused on coming out with the gaps from market end. Founder of Gramshree Mr. Rakesh Gupta was one of the consultants out of three involved in the overall study; final report was pen down by Mr. Rakesh Gupta.

Conducted Dairy value chain study for Grameen Development Services, in Farinda, Maharajganj, Uttar Pradesh.

Study was organised by Grameen Development Services, Lucknow in field area of Farinda. Study focussed on the assessment of milk production in the overall area, and current value chain of liquid milk. It involved interaction with different stake holder which includes farmers, traders, state cooperative and milk union. Based on the overall field assessment detail business plan was submitted to GDS for further Submitting the same to Dorabji Tata Trust.

Conducted the Review Study on Tomato Cultivation implemented by PRADAN and supported by Centre for microFinance, Jaipur.

It was small review down for assessment intervention done by PRADAN in Abu Road Rajasthan on tomato cultivation with the Tribal families of the area. Based on the field visit and interaction with the farmers it was concluded that due to lack of marketing facility, fluctuation of price of tomato , farmers were reluctant to take up this activity. Intervention in value chain for marketing of Tomato was proposed under the final report of the review.

Established & ensured registration of one federation and one Producer Company in Pali, Rajasthan.

Under this assignment support was provided both in technical terms through tie up with CS for registration of Producer Company. At the end of the project Ghoomar Producer Company was registered under Producer Compnay Act, 2013 and Ghoomar Mahila Sangathna under Society Act. Further support was provided for development of clarity about the institution among the SHG leaders and Federation members.
